I just started to chart my BBT using fertilityfriend.com- this is my first month charting. I'm not sure exactly what I'm supposed to look for on my graph..I'm only on CD7 right now.
Can anyone share their experiences using the website? Is it accurate? If already pregnant- how long did it take to conceive while charting your BBT?

like they said... the spike in temperature indicates that you have ovulated. it seems easier to track cervical mucus, that is how i track my ovulation.

If you take your temp at the same time every AM, without getting out of bed, FF is very accurate. Keep in mind, the chart helps you figure ou when you ovulate. A good idea of your conception window will take 2-3 months of charting. The dip (like a real noticable drop in the line) is when you are about to ovulate. Looking at 2-3 charts of your temps will tell you when to have sex. Thus, the first month isn't real helpful to time sex.

I used FF for a year. (Still not preg...but diagnosesed with male-factor issues). HOWEVER, I took my charts into the GYN when I complained of not getting pregnant and immediately, when he saw I was ovulating, he knew it wasn't an issue on my end. So, the charts are good...1) you can see that you ARE ovulating and 2) When you are ovulating. Have sex everyother day 4 days before you ovulate and up to 4 days after.

If you get pregnant, your temperature will continue rising the 2 weeks after you ovulate. If you aren't pregnant, your temp will fall 24 - 48 hours prior to the start of your period.

Every woman is different so your chart may look different than everyone elses.
Sometimes woman will see a dip in temp before they ovulate and then the temp will spike. Once it spikes - you have already ovulated. So its important to BD the days leading up to ovulation. I would recommend also using an OPK.
This is my first month charting, TTC #1- 9mo.
Here's my chart:

Read the tutorials the fertility friend sends you- they're excellent and teach you all you need to know.

Lots of luck to you! =)

***UPDATE: I just got a BFP @ 9DPO - so it only took me 1 month charting! WoooHooooo! =)
also worth noting...I used Preseed for the first time this month...I'm convinced it may have helped.

I used the same website. I started when I stopped taking birth control pills & it took me 11 months to get pregnant. A line will appear on the chart a few days after you've ovulated; there's really no way to predict when that will happen until you've been charting for a few months, so you have to just keep trying until after you've gotten confirmation that you've ovulated.
Good luck!

It took me seven months to conceive after I started using FertilityFriend, keep in mind though I had irregular cycles, so it may take less for you. What you want to see on your graph is a sustained tempurature shift, FF will give you cross hairs after you have 3 higher temps in a row and tell you your Ovulation date. If you have the VIP version, they'll also tell you the chance you conceived this cycle based on the days you had sex if you put that info on your chart. To take a peek at my charts look here: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/susfred
I'd highy recommend checking out the chart gallery ( http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ChartGallery/ ), you can look at ovulatory cycles and cycles that resulted in pregnancy to give you a good idea of what to look for in your own chart. Since there's so many and they are real charts, it gives you a good feel for the many variations in how charts look. Best of luck, I hope you enjoy FFas much as I did.

After your temp rises it will mark ovulation and start keeping other data as well. Just keep plugging the numbers in every morning. I got pregnant the 2nd month I charted. I used ovulation tests and put that data in as well.

if you chart every day on fertilityfriend.com, a red line will appear when you ovulate. your spike in temp is pretty noticeable. mine goes from an average of 97.3 up to 98.5 when I ovulate.
