I dont believe you need to lower your standards, or "settle" for just any one, because then you're not going to truely be happy any ways. Settling on someone is not the answer. I thought the same thing for a long time, but I look at my girl friends and there bf's cheat on them and do lots of other things I dont approve of and I thought to myself I cant do that. I cant settle for something like that, I'll be miserable. Have you ever heard someone say stop looking and you'll find it. I absoluely think this is true, and I say this from experience. You see I lost my fiancee tragicly and after him I thought I would nevre love again. A year went by and i started dating a little and I would cry my self to sleep thinking im just never going to find love again. So I decided I needed more time maybe and I would stop looking. A week later I fell madly inlove with a friend I had known for years, never had I looked at him as anything more than a friend. Today we still live together and are still inlove like the frist day it happened. I know now I will spend the rest of my life with him. So what im getting at is as soon as you give up and stop looking for you its going to smack you in the face so hard you wont know what hit you! good luck I hope you find someone amazing!

Honestly, I find that "online" is the best route, although you run the risk of people lying/using fake pictures. I had the best luck on MySpace because it's almost like a background check. Are their friends cool? Are they funny? Bars and clubs have NEVER worked for me because it's based on physicality only, and half the time, you are drunk. If you go online and find someone with similiar interests, be FRIENDS with them first. Just talk about movies & stuff...and see where it leads. Remember, girls online are CONSTANTLY solicited by guys who just want a "Random Hookup" so if you come off as different, friendly, etc., you might get lucky. Even if it doesn't work out, you'll at keast have made a new friend :)

I work in a male-dominated industry so I know exactly what you are talking about. I am one woman amongst many men in my field. To answer your question: We women ultimately are responsible for raising the men and women of tomorrow. So, our happiness can come from seeing our sons and daughters grow up to develop equal respect for both genders. It all starts in the home, and if your children turn out the way you described, then by all means be ashamed and sad. But there are many families out there who raise their children with a respectful outlook and I truly believe this trend will grow. Nothing changes over night - but you can look at all of the positives. Our world is learning how to behave - like a child growing up. You can be happy as a woman in this world because you can be reminded that things will get better because the past was much worse than the present. All the best!

There are lots of nice young ladies out there and perhaps looking to hard or not in right places I will suggest a few.
Shopping a supermarket believe it or not many a romance over the bread especially evening shopping.
local pub
night club but go to the ones that are themed like 70's as they like those.(my 22 yrs old likes those and her friends nice girls)
Bowling
Swiming
gym
night school honest a friend of mine met her husband in a night school class.Pick something you are interested in as then you have a same like.

Stop searching so hard and she will come to you. The best are always hard to find but im sure you will find the girl of your dreams if your a decent guy. Just show ya loving side as well as ya sexy side :D

She probably lives next door to you, Honey you are looking for the wrong girls try looking beyond looks you'd be surprised who you can fall in love with looks are only skin deep... I always have guys approch me for my looks and i hate that i want someone to know me as a person not just a pretty face... look at the inside the heart...

It takes time..i mean u don't wanna rush and end up in the wrong relantionship =[ cuz thats no good. u just need to give it time and let them come to u if you want. being in a relationship is the best thing ever if u want it to be. but u need to find the rite girl..so don't rush and just settle for some girl..go out and find the rite one even if it takes time =] i hope everything works out for ya =]

The day you will stop searching thats when u will meet the girl of ur dreams. n the day u meet her u wont even realise that she is the girl of ur dreams. u can come that girl at any place....weird places like- at a disney world restaurant, at Alaska's McDonald's, at your gas station, anywhere. there's a time for everything. nothing will happen or can happen b4 the right time comes. you just have to wait for ur time.
