It's cute, it kinda reminds me of Candy. But for me, I love the names Melony and Rose, but it's up to you. It's a nice name.

Yes, I do think it is a cute name!
I have a very unique name and I love it(and the meaning)...now. Most don't love their unique name when they are young. Few things says I love you more than putting great thought into it and giving your child a name that not every other girl or boy in their class will have. However, here are some things to consider:
-what will most people shorten it to and can you live with it?
-will this get my child teased or beat up?
-will my child be able to spell it by age 5?
-hopefully it has some noble meaning or it may be a source of embarrassment for the child

I hope this is a child you are naming otherwise I've said way too much about your new hamster or pet rock! lol

I LOVE that name! It's like the make-up stylist on "what not to Wear". i think she spells it Carmandi, or Karmandi, which elliminates the Car-mandy pronounciation. I also like it spelled Carmandee, or Karmandee, but not as much as Carmandi, or Karmandi, because it's already a long name, so having an "i" instead of "ee" makes it shorter. I think it is gorgous!

Nope. Carmandy sounds like Normandy (Battle of Normandy -- WWII). What about Carmen?

It's pretty sounding and very unique. I'm curious to how you came accross that name. I found several meanings and they all seem nice :
Sweet Beloved, Worthy of Love
From Cam, meaning Orange Fruit, Sweet Beloved
From Amanda, meaning Worthy of Love

Worthy of love seems to be the most common and what child isn't worthy of love. So I think it's a good name.

it's a pretty name and very unique but people especially teachers will butcher it big time! They did to my name all the time and I hated correcting people so I was always MiKayla. It's frustrating being scared of older people and telling them they are wrong about something even that simple.

I dont personally like it. I think there are too many abbreviations which means the origional name probably wont be used anyways. Carmen, mandy etc

it sounds pretty if you can say it fast, but when people first read it, they might get it wrong. I have a hard name to pronounce, and when they attempt to read it, i just accept it, i don't bother to correct them anymore.
My name is Kimanh
Try saying that!

The makeup artist on What not to wear is named that. I think it's very unique and pretty.
