I used to go skiing in Colorado with a dude from Spain. Every time he had some massive wipe-outs. Hats, mittens, poles, skiis all over the place. It was a total yard sale.
I would always say, "Are you ever going to tighten up those bindings? That's the problem."
"Nyah", he would smile, "I like big time wipe-outs. It hurts so good!"

A friend and I used to trade blows with those unbreakable plastic rulers with each other on our forearms in HS as hard as we could. It hurts for a second or two, but then you kinda get a rush and it feels good. He was a bit bigger than me and would scream like a baby and used to get pissed off when i didnt flinch and said it didnt hurt. lol.
