When Southport plesureland was about to be closed my friend and I tried to buy the park from the owners.
But they would'nt sell with the headline ride...which has now been moved to Blackpool.
All in all after looking at the park..the rents..the rides and the costs involved,it did'nt look such an attractive proposition.

Nope... I wouldn't like to be working where everybody else is having fun. Or even worse... being responsible for every freaking accident that happens there (wether is because of a lousy employee or because the victim was simply retarded).
No, thanks... I want to keep up going to the theme parks to forget about my problems and have some fun.

I wouldn't like to work at one but I'd love to own Alton Towers - and live in that house that looks down over the valley, that you can see from the gardens and the cable car. Such beautiful grounds and you could jump the queue for Oblivion whenever you liked! That's my idea of heaven!

Sure but but the start up cost would be huge. You would need a lot of empolys, insurence. You would have to pay for the rides, food , wages, other supplies and land would be a big thing to. It would cost a lot to get started but if you get good rides and make it fun for the guest you will make money.

I have worked in one for six years now and I can honestly say no...It would be to hard to keep every one happy...that costumer thing is always right is such a hassle mostly when they want there kid to get on a ride the are five inches to small for.

sure. i think it would be great fun to put a smile on so many peoples faces everyday, especially the children. but in reality i wouldnt unless i had the money and time to make sure every ride was in excellent condition. i would be scared someone would get hurt and it would be my fault. but if i had the business sense and the money i would love to do it.

Unlike everyone else, i would. My reasons are :
1.If i had enough money to own one, i wud get someone else to run all teh hard bits.
2.I wud enjoy going on the rides
3.I wud enjoy picking the rides
