The Clash generally gets labeled under Punk, more for their attitude rather than their sound.

Techno and Emo.. I hated techno, I guess it was partially due to the fact that I NEED guitars in songs.
The Emo stuff has spread like an infection, and somebody needs to find a cure.

I also find the ones you listed annoying but here are some of my other picks:

Boy Bands
Girl Groups
Heavy Metal
San Francisco Sound
Bubblegum
Country Rap
Thrash
Adult Contemporary
Easy Listening
British Invasion
Family Groups
Jazz (in reference to the big band music of the 1940s)
Sweet Music
Art Rock

Definitely Nu Metal. I've always seen this phase as being either musicians with totally different musical tastes or influences forcing themselves together, or fence-sitters trying too hard to appeal to both schools, and attracting neither.

One route completely sucks and The Beatles completely rule :D !i imagine it truly is tousled that One route is compared to them,i'm exceptionally particular all of us now that One route gained't bypass down in heritage as a band that replaced the music scene. One route favor they could nicely be as spectacular because the Beatles! BQ: i don't believe of the hype following One route at this think about time is corresponding to The Beatles. One route is purely nicely-known for a million (crappy) music and The Beatles are nicely-known for most. BQ2: convinced,it truly is totally superb for Beatles followers to take heed to one route,do purely not commence liking One route more desirable then The Beatles :D !

80s Hair Metal is Evil Incarnate

Gotta be the Hair Metal but I usually refer to it as Butt Rock. There were a few good bands in the 80's Butt Rock scene but wayyyyyyy too much makeup. LOL

Even the bad ones like disco or swing are OK in very small doses. At least disco was so cheesy that you could laugh at it. Emo is the absolute worst and I'm not just saying it because we're stuck with it at the moment. Also unlike emo, the fans of disco never pretended that they knew squat about rock.

Swing got on my nerves.
Emo is pretty goofy too.

But with both of these it wasn't that I hated the music as much as the styles that were associated with the music. How the h*ll does every musical style end up with it's own fashion dictates!

Any music that requires me to play a game of "dress up" gets on my nerves.

Hair metal & 90s boybands.

Both genres were chockful of totally generic, interchangable group members.

Emo is pretty annoying too. It's just funny that everyone & their sister is denying their favorite band is actually emo.

I don't know what category it belongs in and usually i don't like labeling music but, the kind of music tht The Clash did was soooo annoying. It was all just wailing...
