Sorry for the mockery but for goodness sake, there are bad evil folks out there that will cut you and your childrens throats at the drop of a burka.

Stop reading newspapers and watching the news on TV.
I did that some 6 months ago, and I sleep a lot better.
Bring back Punch & Judy shows, hopscotch, toffee apples.
Let children go to bed early on Christmas Eve 'or Santa
won't come'. Give children back their childhood, and let
them live in innocence for a few years.
Terrorism, international crime, etc only effected my life
when I knew about it.
I look about me now, and nothing has changed.
Bring on the ice-cream !

I wonder why mankind is so mean everyday. The best thing to do is to start with yourself... Make a point each day to show love, kindness and compassion each day and in this manner you can help make the world a tiny bit of a better place.

Yes and those people all believe that when they die that's the kind of world they are going to. A world where the invisible sky god will take care of their every need. It's good to see a con figure out how dumb that sounds.

My problem isn't that I don't agree that your first statement is ridiculous (and I know.. some people actually do think that way)... it's that too many people take your second statement too seriously and go overboard in that direction.. which is just as bad.
