I am a registered Republican, always have been. I'd switch parties to vote for Lieberman. He sure is much better than the crop of socialst Democrats and some of the woosie Republicans.

I personally would not. I really liked him back when he ran for president, but have changed my mind. He seems now to be too pro-big business, and less supportive of the working man.
You may want to read more about him, from his website and also any other sources you can find. A simple google search of his name will provide many choices, and reading from different sources will give a more rounded picture of his voting history, business affiliations and political goals.
BTW, he is classified as an "Independent Democrat" nowdays.

I wouldn't vote for that putz if Homer Simpson was the only other choice. He is a very dim bulb.
