you sure you don't mean "pseudo?" If so, it means fake or false.

It gets used a lot to mean fake or substitute. For example, you might have older neighbors you affectionately call sudo-grandparents because they take on aspects of that role. I had a friend back in 2002 we teased about being sudo-indian. She was born in India and was genetically indian, but immigrated as a baby and was culturally VERY american (valley girl accent, blue jeans/t-shirt, loved cheesy pop music, etc).
The Linux operating system uses the term sudo when you want to impersonate a different user for elevated privileges, such as when installing software as an administrator (in windows this would be done using Run As...).

pseudo jargon
/soo'doh/ (Usenet) Pseudonym.
1. An electronic-mail or Usenet persona adopted by a human for amusement value or as a means of avoiding negative repercussions of one's net.behaviour; a "nom de Usenet", often associated with forged postings designed to conceal message origins. Perhaps the best-known and funniest hoax of this type is BIFF.
2. Notionally, a flamage-generating AI program simulating a Usenet user. Many flamers have been accused of actually being such entities, despite the fact that no AI program of the required sophistication yet exists. However, in 1989 there was a famous series of forged postings that used a phrase-frequency-based travesty generator to simulate the styles of several well-known flamers; it was based on large samples of their back postings (compare Dissociated Press). A significant number of people were fooled by the forgeries, and the debate over their authenticity was settled only when the perpetrator came forward to publicly admit the hoax.

the sudo you are spelling gives this definition:
sudo (super user do),[1] generally pronounced IPA: [sudu], is a program for Unix-like operating systems such as BSD, Mac OS X, and Linux that allows users to run programs with the security privileges of another user (normally the system's superuser) in a secure manner. By default it is installed in /usr/bin.

sudo was originally written by Bob Coggeshall and Cliff Spencer around 1980 at the Department of Computer Science at SUNY/Buffalo. The current version is maintained by OpenBSD developer Todd C Miller and distributed under a BSD-style license.

PSEUDO (pronounced as "soo-doh") means false, fake, sham, or having the appearance of but not actually being something.
