Well about 2 weeks later, i get a 7 day notice,I call and asked why and management said the owner is going to get the house back or some bull, and I still have to pay rent, I just want to know can they do this, even if they did give me a date when we go to court how long tops would I have, I have a family of 7, need help people...Please people that understand and truly have answer

Pay your rent. It is very common for foreclosure notices to be send and the owner redeem the property. The owner financial problems are really none of your business. You are living in the house and you should pay your rent.

If the house actually is foreclosed, they still might want paying renters. You wouldn't have to move till you actually received a 30 day notice to vacate.

I would ask an attorney. Most will do a consultation for free or a very small fee. Some of your details are kind of vague. Is there a contract between you and the owners, do you work for them in lieu of rent payments or do you get a salary from them? Did the mortgage company refuse collection of payment or the owners? Was the 7 day notice from the owners or the mortgage company. If you are renting under "normal" circumstances, you should be given at least a 30-day notice. Usually this doesn't happen unless you have been a "problem" renter. I would also contact the mortgage company and see if they can give you any answers on what is going on with this property. You might be able to purchase the property yourself if it is in foreclosure. Good Luck!

Unfortunately, it is the homeowners responsibility to inform you of forclosure. its so awful for you- i am sorry.

If you try to appeal to the courts, in writing, they may grant you an extension- but it wont be long.
