It will be the same. There are three tiers now - Australia in top, Bangladesh in the bottom and the rest in between. That's what will remain unless WI drops to the lower or Bangladesh lifts themselves..

I feel that they will be in a much better position than now.
As we saw in the 20/20 world cup, the young team can take Indian cricket to new levels. And their mighty veterans were not part of that team. If they can put that kind of passion into both the 1 days and test matches, they will make the top 3 teams.

once you have gamers like Sachin on your group then Captaining a area will become an much less demanding job. Manmohan Singh will possibly no longer have a Sachin tendulkar of Politics to make issues much less demanding. So being PM of India is greater confusing job than captaining a cricket group.
