You'll see everything there from jeans to prom dresses. I, personally, like to dress up as I think it shows respect for the theatre. You could wear dress pants and a nice top or churchy dress or even a fancy dress. If you wanna get all cute and go all out - go for it! You won't look out of place. OR if you're gonna be in the city all day, wear some dress pants or a skirt that are more comfortable. And (I'm speaking from experience) wear comfy shoes because you'll do a lot of walking unless you are going straight to the theatre and that's it.

I know the "Wizard of Oz", and "Wicked" is known as the newest Broadway musical that is called the "untold story of the witches of Oz." In other words, a good witch and a bad witch.
I don't know which witch that you love in the musical. I don't know if you like the evil witch or the good one. But here are some suggestions....
If you want to dress up as Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, a white cocktail dress and white shoes should suffice.
Don't carry a magic wand. You will overdo the dress.
If you want to dress up as the Wicked Witch (of the West), wear all black. Add a witch's black cap to finish up. Don't carry a broom and don't put your face all in green paint--you will overdress at that point.
Hope that helps, and good luck seeing a story Mr. Baum had never, ever wrote about Oz.....

If you are going to a matinee, a nice pant suit or a pretty skirt and blouse are appropriate. If you are going in the evening, a fancy dress or party outfit would be the proper dress. A man should be in a suit. I guess, dress like you would if you were going to church or a wedding. Blue jeans and khakis are definitely out.

A blouse or sweater, dress pants, dress shoes. Business Casual is always best.
No jeans... not theater attire. Unless its something like blue man group.

Dress up like a which, they will think you are just a super fan! Depends on where you are seeing it. Usually i wear a nice shirt and a tie if it is off broadway, on broadway I usually go full suit.

dont be too dressy cuz broadway shows are not what they used to be but dont go too casual...i'd say jeans and and a nice shirt. If they're skinny jeans, wear flats. If their boot cut or wide leg, wear heels!!!

i would suggest clothing
but seriously, first time i took my daughter to Riverdance, we dressed up a bit but lots of people were there in jeans
might depend on the theater though or your community -- not that i'd say i would've expected it to be that casual though in that community necessarily, so wear something in between, like you'd wear to church?
