Notre Dame goes without question. You are right there, as they have let down a lot of people. The biggest surprise winner might go to Illinois as well. They are playing very good football right now. There rushing game is among the best in college, and they have beaten good teams along the way. I would not be surprised to see them playing for the Big Ten Title this year. Although they do not have a chance at a National Title, they can play for respect, which they have earned so far.

South Florida has also played very well, along with South Carolina.

While USC only has 1 loss, I still call it a bust that they lost AT HOME to Stanford. They shouldn't be considered for a BCS Championship game after that. If they finish the season with just one loss they should still get another BCS game - just not national title game.

Cal has surprised me the most. They started off the season manhandling Tennesee and have continued to get better every week.

I'm surprised that Notre Dame is as bad as they are, but not surprised they're bad. I'm an Irish fan for life so I kinda saw a letdown coming this year. Hopefully I be able talk smack again in the next couple of years.

Michigan is without question the biggest bust, they were like preseason #2 or top 5. The biggest surprise is the Cincinnati Bearcats, they are undefeated and #1 in the Big East. Illinois is a surprise as well.

i does not say the Tigers would be between the biggest busts ever, I did anticipate them to be extra ideal than they're, and that i presumed they could win the WS, yet I additionally theory it became very probably they does not win their very own branch. individually, I wasn't ever impresses with the Tiger's pitching group, the rotation or the pen. I advise, Kenny Rogers is now 40 3 and he wasn't precisely dazzling final season. Dontrelle became probable the main puffed up participant interior the league in the process the offseason, i think of easily everyone forgot he became 10-15 with a 5.17 era in '07. Bonderman is fifty 8-sixty 5 with a 4.seventy 5 occupation era and he's under no circumstances gained extra advantageous than 14 video games in a season and Robertson's numbers are tremendously lots comparable to Bondermans. the only starter well worth something entering this season, in my techniques, became Verlander. Then we bypass to the pen, Todd Jones has under no circumstances been a Mariano Rivera form closer...he can get the pastime carried out, yet he supplies up runs. Plus, we knew Zumaya could be out, and he's their set-up guy. I tremendously lots got here into the season thinking that the Tigers might decide to attain 6 runs each pastime to have a shot at triumphing. The dissappointment has been with the offense. i individually theory we could see those Tigers score 1000 runs this year. of direction, the completed group began the season ice chilly. yet, they're turning it around, and that i nonetheless think of we could desire to work out 5 or 6 Tigers hit .3 hundred+ this season. i don't know in the event that they would be a playoff group, yet i've got have been given to confess, i presumed the Indians have been going to be so lots extra ideal than they're and that they have got been heavily going to project the Tigers for the branch call.
