With his recent comments & current age I believe he should be evaluated to see if he even knows what year it is. He is representing God knows who for the only purpose that I can tell is to destroy our reputation. We don't need senile old farts like him out muddying the waters at this critical time. He should stay home at his peanut farm & share all of these theories with his hound dog & give us a break.

Not mentally ill. Just a bitter old man that was decisively voted out of office and has been stewing about it ever since.

Actually Jimmy Carter deserves much respect for all he's done for the world. What have you done lately? He knows more about the Middle East (and it's people) than any other president has cared too and he believes in diplomacy first, something the current president knows nothing about. He was probably one of the most honest presidents we've ever had or will have and he wasn't out to get rich like all the presidents of late. Everyone makes mistakes but none as huge or deliberate as the ones in the last 25 years. Making peace it a hell of a lot harder than making war.

He recently had a physical and his results were excellent including his mental skills. He is just outspoken and while i don't agree with him much of the time, he may have nailed it right on this time. The truth is hard to hear and even harder to face.

Sadly like most Liberals he is on the fringe of insanity! Political correctness will surely kill us all! We profile our enemy's as being terrorists from the far eastern Arabic Countries for a reason! Hello...is everyone blind? That is not to say there aren't other loonies, aka the German Islamic group and the three black Islamic nuts picked up in Florida, but the majority have been from Egypt, Saudi Arabia Turkey Afghanistan etc. I never thought Jimmy Carter was the sharpest knife in the drawer any way.

Destroy our reputation

a little too late george W Bush has already done that with his arrogent disregard for the Geneva Convention !!
For that alone he should be impeached tried and jailed .

This country once held its head high BECAUSE we wouldn't stoop to torture and indiscriminate killing
NOT NOW.

If you want people wit truth on their tongues to be silent, youare as guilty as Bush and should be ashamed for enabling this disgrace upon our nation!!

To me Carter is a very intelligent, caring, compassionate guy. But he would have been a much better Senator than he was as a President.

He just wasn't a good President. But his apologists will say it wasn't his fault.

We all have a God given right to express our opinions. That is what makes our country's great-that we have the freedom to do this without any persecution. Having said that, our country's have done plenty of things of which we should be ashamed ..

May be, but he is smarter now than Reagan was in his prime. You need a break? Stop reading about him.

When he makes speeches cricizing the United States on foreign soil I get upset. I guess that is why I him an e-mail through Habitat. " Could I please have your address. So, when you die I can send your family a letter of congratulations"
