And if so do you like it and was it a good purchase? i have a link down at the bottom of a nice site i found but am not sure if it is worth it's money. Do you think so? Anyway the reason why i'm asking is because my dogs water is always full of dirt and leaves and stuff that she digs up in the backyard and i have to clean it out everyday and i sometimes forget to clean it out and she drinks that gross water and i can't bare to think about her drinking that. I also think that it would be good for my cat because my cat always drinks from the opening to the filter on my fish tank so maybe that would help him stop (i always have enough fresh water for him) What do you think? I think it will be very convenient for my lifestyle but I was just wanting an extra push from yahoo answers.

We had one of those, one cat wouldn't drink from it, and it eventually broke. We bought a catit (also avalible is dogit) and it works great and both our cats (and my friend's yorkie) love it.

I have one for my cat and he LOVES It .... I have a different one .. my was called Cat-it drinking fountain ... it has a dome and he licks off of it ... how big is your dog?? If its a large dog I dont know if this will work as it would be too small for him .. but if hes a small size then yeh!! Theres a filter inside to collect all the gunk! Its great!!

Our boy cats love their Drinkwell, but our girl isn't interested & only drinks from a bowl.
