I would wait and tell your doctor. If the contractions you have been having escalate to the point where you get concerned, or they come more than 4x a day go to your Doctor early or go to your local ER.
Back pain is not uncommon through pregnancy. I have VERY bad back pain for the last 2 weeks and I'm 35 weeks along.
Also the sharp pains in your upper belly are most likely round ligament pain ( your uterus is connected to you by 4 muscles and these can become stretched and ache something terrible in late pregnancy)
The baby can also 'Drop' anytime in the last trimester. It is a sign that he may come early, but not a grantee.
As for the UTI's Ive had a yeast infection from week 26 that they just cant get rid of with prescriptions either. My doctor says that it is normal to have trouble getting over sicknesses and infections while pregnant...
If he does come in the next few weeks try not to worry. The baby's survival rate past week 30 is very good.

All and all just be attentive, follow doctors orders, drink lots of liquid for your UTI's and good luck mommy!

Well, start taking pre-natal vitamins if you are not already. The technology we have today along with taking care of yourself really has minimized the risk of deah and other issues that are not genetic in nature. It's very rare for a baby to die during labor or o have a stillbirth but it does happen. There are so many factors that affect your outcome that it's impossible to tell you for sure. Pregnancy, labor and delivery are very unpredictable life events. However, being young is to your advantage. Low iron simply means that the baby is taking iron out of your body as he or she will if you don't nourish yourself properly. It means that you will experience more fatigue and that can affect your health. If there is not enough available calcium - baby will take it from you. It's hard but the most important thing is to relax and get those nutrients. Ask your doctor for a prescription prenatal vitamin. There's no doubt that you can carry for 40 weeks. Babies have been saved as early as about 25 weeks although their chances are slim. There's no safer time in the history of the world than now. You could be more suceptible to a pre-term birth, and you want to avoid that since it increases your chances of complications. Your doctor is looking out for your bes interests but everything is most likely going to be fine. Prenatal vitamins and red meats are good iron sources. Here's a great site with lots of helpful information.

Well, it couldn't hurt to call your Doctor's emergency number. Tell them your symptoms - and they'll know exactly what questions to ask and what signs point to trouble.

You say you're having excruciating back pains - are they to the point where you can't talk/walk/function through them?? Are they timed a specific time apart (like 20, 10, or 5 minutes)? If they are, that's labor, and it's time to go to the ER.

Also, are you bleeding, even a little? If you are, go to the ER.

Otherwise, I'd say it's just BH, and false labor, and you just need to lie down for now, and tell the Doc what's going on on Monday and make sure you don't need to go on bed-rest.

I've been having a problem with yeast infections during my pregnancy, and I got treated a couple of weeks ago for one, and I asked my doctor if it was coming back, and he said as long as it's not driving me crazy itching/burning, we should just let it be for now, until the baby's born. Maybe that's the same philosophy your Doc is taking with your UTI??

Good luck sweetie....... being pregnant is a magical time, but can also be a pain in the butt, literally! :-)

Let us know how it goes!

I'm 30 weeks pregnant too, And I have been experiencing BH contractions and excruciating back pain too. I think you should call your Dr's office and get a check up, just to be safe. Stress is horrible on you & baby's health. So make that call girl! I'm sure you'll make it to 40 weeks, These last months are the hardest.

Best wishes to you & your little baby!

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

Definitely call your OBGYN for advice. I had the same problem carrying my first child. I went into early labor and spent a week in the hospital. Thank goodness they were able to stop the labor and I carried him to full term. You need to stay off of your feet as much as possible. The pain in your lower and mid back could be from the pressure on your kidneys, the infection, or could be a sign of premature labor. Call your Doctors office immediately!

I would call your doctor and let them tell you what they think you should do. They may want to monitor you more closely or put you on bedrest. If it looks like you may not make it much longer they can give you steroid shots to help develop the baby's lungs and antibiotics. I delivered at 32 weeks 5 days and my son was a healthy 5 pounder. He went home 2 weeks after he was born. Good luck!

Call the doctor. You have no reason to go the ER. If you're not really in labor, they're just going to send you home. Worrying is going to hurt you and your baby so you need to find some way to relax.

you can avoid the ER by calling to talk to your doctor at the clinic. they will probably take your number down and ask whats wrong and he will call you back.

if you feel like something is immediately wrong, dont' hesitate to go to the ER. good luck :)
