I dont know. I think it depends on the situation. I love my husband with all my heart but have found myself in a web of deception- not in a physical affair but perhaps just as bad, an emotional one.

I think if you both love each other it is worth working out. Seek counseling otherwise try to pick up the pieces of your life and put your own life back together- alone.

I use to not understand and thought those who cheated didnt love the innocent party... If I was you, I would talk to your signfigant other and ask them what happened... why... perhaps you work too much... or they work too much... not enough time being spent on your relationship. I dont know. I hope you find the answer.

Of course it means they don't love you enough! If you truly loved someone, then how could you hurt them so badly? It's not like cheating happens by accident! "Oh I accidentally slept with her. Sorry." Cheating or not cheating is something that you have control of. So if you don't have, or want control over your actions for the sake of your significant other, then you don't love them no where near as much as you should. Basically, you are selfish and you care more about your wants/needs more than your mate's.

No it does not mean your partner loves you less. It means that your partner is having a problem in your relationship.

There is no love in cheating. Cheaters cheat because they do not respect their partners or because they run from problems. Either way a cheater is not worth having around.

So the answer is a definite yes!! The cheater does not love or respect their partner.

Take care,
Troy

If a partner truly loved you they wouldn't find the NEED to cheat at all.

Partners 'CHEAT' in a relationship when their needs are not being met. It doesn't mean that they love their partner less, it just means that they are not getting what they want/need in the relationship. 'CHEATING' may be sex, but can also be sharing intimate feelings and details with someone other than their partner.

When one partner cheats, both partners need to take responsibility for the problem and both need to make changes to resolve it.

Though it may not always mean this, it is usually the case. The people who claim that it does mean this are either lying or ignorant. I speak from experience, so I know it is possible to cheat on someone and love them equally or even more.

Yes, they love you less in the sense that they have given up that exclusive relationship with you. For whatever reason (and there are as many different reasons as there are people), they are seeking something outside of that connection. It's a sure sign that the relationship as you knew it is over.

Love isn't the issue when someone cheats. It's about respect and trust. Those are more important than love to a relationship. Without those, the love disappears.

Yes, I think it means just that. There has to have been some love loss if they feel they need to be in the arms of another person.
