Yes I have. I was working in a primary school and wore different socks because I was in a rush to get to work.
The other daft thing I have done is worn shoes of the same style but in different colours, one was blue and the other was black.
The kids were so quick to point my daft mistake out too. They thought it was hilarious , little brats teased me all day long. One of those kids said I had alzheimers disease because I was " old ".Cheeky things

I've worn non matching socks in public on purpose. What would the world be like if we matched all the time?

Luckily I've never been out in public in non-matching socks. However... it could possibly be better than the time I left the house wearing two different brown flipflops. At least they were both brown... but the flower detail on one flipflop, and the sequence on the other one did seem to clash. I think non-matching socks would be less embarassing because truely, no one ever sees my socks...

When I used to go to catholic school, I had to leave real early and when I was getting dressed I didn't turn on the lights because I didn't want to wake anyone else up and I grabbed a pair of socks thinking they were both navy blue. When I got to school, I saw that one was navy blue and one was black. They both looked navy when I was at home so I didn't know. It was kinda embarrassing when I was a teenager but looking back on it now I think it's kinda funny.

Iv worn non-matching shoes, 1 black, 1 brown. Didnt notice for ages and nearly died when i did.

I can honestly say that right now I do not have on matching socks with my jeans, what's the point if no1's gonna see them.
