My husband and I went to my appointment yesterday an the past few weeks we were under the assumption we were going to have a boy (per the sono tech) well we found out yesterday that we are in fact going to have a girl. we already had the boy name picked out and everything but now we have to come up with a different name.
our boy name was going to be : hayden (could be both)
girl name : halyn, halynn, or hailynn

any suggestions?

Save Haydan...for your son & pick out a girls name to complement Haydan. Danielle? Hannah? Danica?

You could use Hayden as a girl name, I prefer it as that anyway. My little neice is named Hayden Scarlett, put a girly middle name with it. Another nice name would be Haylee and maybe with the middle name Claire.

Hayden (Haden, Hadynn, Haydnn) is still an incredibly gorgeous name for a girl. I would consider staying with the name, it was your original choice and plus it will make a great memory.

I would just stick with Hayden. I've known more girls named Hayden than boys any way. I had a friend who was going to have a little boy named Taylor and she ended up with a little girl named Taylor.

I don't like Hayden on a girl. Very trendy. I am not loving your girl names, either, though. How about just Halle (pronounced like the actress)?

you can name a girl hayden. That girl on Heroes is named Hayden something or other. I think it's cute for a girl. Much better than Hailynn. Hailin a cab.

I have 2 girls. Congratulations! Girls are hard work but they are very sweet until they hit age8 lol I am not trying to scare you. My girls names are Chloe and Ellie. I think those names that sound like Hailey are becoming way too common. Good Luck with your baby girl and enjoy her while she is small. They grow up way too fast.

Hayden is really cute for a girl too, I think.

Otherwise
what about
Hailey
or Gracyn
or Jayden
or Peyton? :)

i would stick with hayden. because if you name her halynn and you have a boy later on, you can't use the name hayden anyways b/c the two names are so close.
