In many studies, depending on your field, it can be as high as double what a high school graduate would make.

In some fields (engineering) it can be 4-times as much as with a high school diploma.

In some fields (very few), it is possible for a high school graduate to make more or the same as a college graduate.

The average figures are:
Advanced degree = $78,093
Bachelor's degree = $51,554
HS Diploma = $28,645

most people can easily see the pattern there... ☺
