Take the tax cuts. I keep hearing how the tax cuts were just for the rich. Well from the information I have gathered it seems that the rich pay most of the taxes so it would make sense that a tax break benefit them. Poor people don’t pay any income taxes and most middle class people pay very little. So what is wrong? Why the constant attacks against successful people?

It's not just about the tax cuts. I think most of us assume that if you are rich, all your problems are solved automatically and you should spend your life in the service of others.
Some rich people (like Bill and Melinda Gates, Bono, Oprah and others) are working to help others. They do give back a lot. Others are just greedy, some used crime or exploitation to get their wealth and they give nothing back.
As far as taxes go, I think we should never have gone to war in Iraq, generated a huge national debt or sold the debt to China. All of that can't help people get basic medical care and a decent education. So, there should be a way to have a national referendum about the war in Iraq, and those who support it should pay the bills for it.

Apparently we have another idiot that doesn't know what they're talking about. Poor people do pay income taxes, any body who works pays income taxes, you can work and still be poor. I guess you think that if a person has a job, then they're not poor, I guess when you grow up and face reality, then you'll know the truth. I bet your daddy bought your first car didn't he? or aren't you old enough to drive yet?

because many, notice that I'm not generalizing, wealthy people become arrogant, selfish, and non-caring about the community. If you happen to be one of those nice rich people, nice to meet you.

It's not the fact that there are rich people. It is the fact of increasing concentration of wealth.
