I am interested to do my own stock analysis. Eventually I hope to sell my reports, like for a buck or two. Is there any easy channel you can go through to sell the reports to investors?

To be an analyst and sell reports you have to take several exams administered by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

For "a buck or two"? Have you ever heard the expression, "You get what you pay for"?

There is an easy channel to sell the report to investors, you could pay for an insert ad for when they mail the dividend checks--but that would eat up all your revenue even with the best of the responses.

Essentially, for the easy process, you set up a web site with a catchy name and offer your wares after listing on numerous search engines.

A better tack, again requires you up your price somewhat, and that is dress up the details and offer your reports to brokerages. One common opening is finding companies that have few people reporting on them, common in very small companies, and this will allow the brokerages to flesh out their information holdings on these.

If you are good at the math and have done the research on the company, you might start offering earnings estimates, again for companies with minimal coverage. Lots of investors make their decisions to buy or sell a company based on a consensus of earnings estimates--sometimes want to get the full report (which you generously offer to them).

You have to register with each state in which an investor might see your advertisement. Pennsylvania will require that you have $2,000,000 in seizable capital in case you break the law. So, you probably cannot do that unless you can meet the capital requirements or you do not use the internet.

you'd also have to build a reputation of picking the right stocks and being able to prove it so you'd have to actually follow your own advice and put your money where your advice is a for a couple of years AND be successful with your stock picks
