I don't hate them, they don't even make a blip on my radar screen for the most part. I just see them for what they are. Right wing hit men and women (you forgot Coulter) who ply their trade in hatemongering and smear tactics. I don't subscribe to that sort of nonsense, so I just don't listen to them. They of course have freedom of speech. I have no desire to silence them or ban them from anything. I use my own freedom of speech to make fun of them sometimes, and to give my opinion about them when they make news with their snide and usually fact devoid commentaries. That's the way it is in this country, and thank God for that.

I think "hate" is a strong word. I think Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Sean Hannity, Billo, Fox Noise, et al. are vicious human beings who spew ugly rhetoric, but I still believe they have the right to say whatever they want. Preferably from a padded cell (just KIDDING). I just wish they would be so kind as to extend the same courtesy to those with whom they disagree and who disagree with them.

It is funny, how liberals think the conservatives are uneducated because we don't agree with them. While conservatives, like myself, just simply say prove your point. It has yet to proven that liberalism and socialism works, and it has been tried many times.
So to answer the question, freedom of speech is what it is, for everyone. So, stop and listen, read a history book, and learn what the other side has offer. You just might turn out like I did, and Dennis Miller, and like what you learn.
EDIT// Liberals, listen to yourselves... you have convinced yourself that only you appreciate the arts, fine music, and books. You belch out the (open you beer in the art gallery) diatribe, trying to to say again that conservatives are retarded rednecks (remember AL Gore and the chromosome crack). Listen to your stereotypes, doesn't that sound like racism? Listen to your rants, doesn't that sound like hate? So how dare you call yourself "progressive"?

Why ban any of them. They are excellent examples of what the Republicans stand for and why the Democrats will win. They are the Democrats best friends. The Democrats could not purchase better advertisements than these guys provide for free.

Because :
1. Unlike you people, we actually support the Bill of Rights, even when we hear stuff we don't like. Of COURSE Freedom of Speech applies to them.
2. Ratings have absolutely NOTHING to do with the credibility of what comes out of those polarizing gas-bags' mouths.
3. We will NEVER stoop to your level.

Everyone has freedom of speech. I like Glenn the best. Rush is the smartest. Hannity is laid back.

Freedom of speech applies to them. It also applies to everyone that wants to criticize them.

I don't want to ban them. I'm strong supporter of the first amendment. I'm also a strong supporter of taking responsibility for what you say or do. I would have more respect for someone like Rush if he didn't try to convince people that he didn't say what I heard him say in relation to the troops and took responsibility for it.
To paraphrase someone wiser than I, the three men you mention are entitled to their own opinions, but they are not entitled to their own facts.

Why would we ban them? Revolting as they are, they are allowed to express their views. Besides...what would their followers do? Pick up books and read? Read real newspapers? Watch art films? Just what this country needs...educated conservatives. [shudder]. Best they stick to reality television and right-wing talk radio and stay out of our foreign language film cinemas and museums. And it's embarrassing when they crack open the cans of Bud Lite at art gallery openings.

Why would I ban them? We all need our daily dose of comedy, listening to Rush is nbetter then any HBO special, he's a friggin lunatic with or without drugs and replublicans eat it up like it's a 12 year old boy. I think Rush shoudl just become next president, still couldn't do any worse then Bush-
