It isn't all a question of physical appearances or conditions but the emotions involved as well. There will be raw emotions on both sides because of the divorce. She made the mistake of admiring a celebrity to the point of marrying him and now has to go through the emotional feeling associated with the marriage not working out, and the money is a percent of the money involved so that it really is not different than a woman getting $10,000 from a man worth $100,000 - the amounts may be wrong but I think you will get the idea.
Marriage is an attempt of two people to build a life together but if it doesn't work out, it is wrong to either honor of vilify either party on just the basis of the marriage

What's her being one-legged have to do with it? NOTHING.

When billionaires get married, they have to figure on a several million dollar loss when they divorce. It's usually in the contract when they married, a set amount to be given in the case of a divorce.

I can't imagine that Paul was stupid enough not to have one of these contracts when he married her, but some men are idiots and think they are so in love a divorce will never happen, so they don't. Very unusual not to though.

So first find out what the settlement amount was in the contract that they BOTH (including paul) agreed on before they got married.

Then you'll know whether she's trying for more than that amount.

Many times the contract before marriage that they both sign is very specific as to what amount the other spouse is entitled to, based on how many years they were married. Like, 5 mil for 5 years of marriage, 10 mil for 10 years of marriage, etc.

But this crap about "a one legged woman" you wrote is pretty ignorant. That's a really cruel and stupid thing to say, and it's wrong, so knock it off.

The whole thing about divorce is it benefits the lower-income earner at the expense of the higher-income earner.

In short, it benefits the woman a lot more than the man.

Face it. Men marry women for many reasons, among others.... sex.

Women marry men for many reasons, among others...financial security.

Thus, upon divorce--the woman gets to enjoy the financial security upon division of the marital assets, and upon alimony payments. The woman is assumed to have "forsaken" her career options (those options being as lucrative as the ones that the male took up) in order to go into the marriage.

But upon divorce, the man no longer gets to have sex with the woman.

So if the woman brought sex to the table... one of the main reasons he married her -- the pleasure associated with having sex with her...is not split up evenly with the other marital assets. The man gets no compensation for that.

Men are getting screwed by the legal system! Such that it actually makes economic sense for women to divorce and dump men.

Everyone I know hates her she played the sympathy card with the leg thing, gave him a bundle of joy to secure a life long connection, then set about getting as much money as poss. Nice eh?

Do you really think he was stupid enough to think she loved him? I think his ego was stroked for a while, he won't miss the money will he?

I know!
I 've been thinking the same!
She comes with nothing and wants to clear the bank account or thinks that she's entitled to half?
I'm not sure how she worked that one out! Unless she's the gold digger everyone knows she is!
I know she has a child with him, but still, I am sure he's not going to leave his child homeless and with no revenue or having to ask him for some.
She has tasted jet set life style and wants to maintain it!

Ps: obviously, I'm not against her because of her handicap.
It's the idea of wanting more than you need or even deserve.
Fair enough, she's the mother of his child, but at the end of the day, she didn't help him build his fortune and I don't doubt for a minute that Sir PM will see to it that his daughter receives her share of his fortune in time.
That the mother deserves something fair enough, but on what ground should she deserves half of what he has, made by himself??!

Paul McCartney married a year after Lindas death...So it didn't work out with Heather. In England they do not have prenups...So it is what it is.Heather initially sought 400 million..She is lucky to walk or limp away with 100 million...That's alot of pounds folks!

Excuse me but what has her being one-legged got to do with anything?

Anyway, Paul won't end up on the streets. Worry about something more important.

She is quite capable of scratching a living as a minor celeb - trouble is she is hated in the showbiz circuit, she is a hard faced cow. She was savvy enough to not waste any time in getting pregnant with his kid, I believe that was on her agenda because it means financially he'll never be free of her demands.

Just like Mel B has done, got pregnant by a millionaire and you are made for life.

Good on Billie Piper for not going down the same gold-digging road - that's real girl power Mel B!!!!

Edit:
OMG Retox - we're singing from the same hymm sheet!!!!

I partly agree with you. I think that what you bring in is yours and what you aquire mutually is to be divided evenly. But then again, he should have thought of a prenup with his status. And her physical being has nothing to do with any of this. She's entitled to something, but yes I hate when this happens in marriages as well. When one person just leached off the other and then expects to be taken care of for the rest of their life all because the marriage failed. It doesnt make much sense to me.

The moment she fell pregnant is the moment she sealed the deal. It is the oldest trick in the book. She has no shame and will sink to the lowest to get what she wants. A gold digger of the highest order.

She made enough money for herself so why does she has to be greedy - she should take a leaf out of Billy Piper's book - she didn't take a penny from Chris Evans when they divorced but then again, what can you expect from a compulsive liar like Heather.
