You can only see it indirectly at this point. You have to look at how Ron throws a snit fit when Hermione says that she's going to the Yule Ball with Victor Krum, see how Hermione is peeved about being asked out by Ron "as a last resort," and then just put two and two together.

It becomes a lot more obvious in Book 6, and JKR removes all doubt about it near the end of Book 7. No more details, though; I don't want to spoil it for you in case you haven't yet read all the books!

you are able to really see it in a roundabout way at this component. you are able to need to seem at how Ron throws a snit in superb situation even as Hermione says that she is going to the yuletide Ball with Victor Krum, see how Hermione is peeved about being requested out via Ron "as a very last inn," and then really placed 2 and a pair of mutually. It turns right into much better glaring in e book 6, and JKR receives rid of all doubt about it close to to the end of e book 7. no longer better suggestion, besides the undeniable fact that; i do not want to ruin it for you in case you've not yet analyze each of the books!

mac1hull's bad answer aside, whether you're going by just the movies or are reading the books to, just keep your eyes open and you'll see the answer by the end of number 7.
