Those of u who have the Wii or played with it what do u think of it? Those who want to buy it why and do u like it? Plz write me your opinion .

heck yes the wii is better than the ps3 because the overall game play is better. Instead of sitting down pushing buttons you can move around and have fun.

I personally say the Nintendo Wii is better because I care about having fun with friends and the family.
However, I used to be a hardcore gamer so then I would have picked the XBOX 360 or the PS3. Even then I'd still buy the Nintendo Wii because its different and fun.
So I guess in the end, it's better to buy the Nintendo Wii.

Well I have a PS3 and a Wii and I would have to go with PS3 as being better then the Wii. However I have been a bit disappointed with the PS3 but I would still choose it over Wii as of this point in time.

Well the Xbox 360 is a good console except that it has many flaws but it has ALOT of fun games The Wii is more for kids 10 and under its a bit more cartoony the Ps3 is a goo console but it has horrible boring unattractive games so the 360 is your best choice. PS dont let them convince to buy a ps3 because it has Blu-ray when you buy a console its to play games not watch dvd's if you want to watch dvd's buy a dvd player

ok....Honestly i bought a Wii a week ago and I'm loving it
Seeing as though these are entirely different consoles, your main comparisons for them are quite broad:
Price, Gaming quality, Value, Fun
Now obviously these are the prices for each
wii = $400 Au ...Wii games are usually $70-100
PS3 = $1000 Au (60gb hard-drive etc) ..ps3 games are usually $80-120
Now with a wii,
-you can play your games,
-read SD cards for pictures and videos,
-go online if you have wireless internet (or buy a wireless USB adapter),
-online gaming is free with all of the online compatible games
- you can buy games from snes, nes, sega and n64 and save them to your hard-drive with the virtual console (online)
-go on the internet and browse as if you were on a computer
-buy "channels" which allow you to access all kinds of content like weather, news, online polls and stuff like that
-backwards compatible with the gamecube
-wireless, motion sensing controllers
the wii is generally cheaper and the games are all great fun, most of them are up to 4 players.
The quality of games are amazing. nearly all of them support the motion sensing within the controller
like zelda for example...swinging your arm will swing the sword, pointing at the screen will aim your bow etc. Now while we're on the topic of zelda, though the graphics arent mindblowing like the ps3...the gameplay and replayability is much better... Zelda hosts at least 50+ hours of gameplay if you rush though it and there is that much side-content you'll never get bored.
the wii is cheaper and you wont get bored of it so it's well worth it.
And now for the PS3
-Great graphics capabilities
-Bluray discs holding up to 50gb
-internet capabilities (it costs per month i think)
-a wireless controller option (though its only side to side, not 360 degrees)
-photo, movie viewing etc
-a 40+gb hard-drive to store stuff on
-backwards compatiblity with the ps2
The ps3 is DEFINATELY the most powerful of all the new gen consoles and has the capabilities which the xbox and the wii dont
however capabilities are nothing if it isnt worth it. The Bluray discs are only compatible with the PS3, they cost heaps and practically no better than DVDs. would you pay $60 for a movie just to see the picture a little better? in my opinion i can see just fine with DVDs and thats practically the same concept with the whole "console war"
sure the PS3 is great and can do all this stuff better than the others...but does anyone really care? were we THAT unhappy with DVDs that sony had to create a whole other format?
were the graphics THAT bad on PS2s that they had to triple the quality and size?
in short i think the PS3 is more powerful than the Wii
on the other hand i think that the Wii is better than the PS3
If your planning on not having a budget and will buy a PS3 at it's rediculous price then sure go and get one right now.
and if you dont like the idea of a wii but dont want to spend a fortune on a PS3...then go get an XBOX 360..it offers the same gaming concept as a PS3 (good graphics, lots of fps and single player games etc...you know what i mean) at a much more affordable price.

i would say the wii is a more fun machine to have. but in terms of performance, i'd have to say ps3. for example, i bought maddem 08 for the wii, and its fun to use the two controller and nunchuk to control the players, but the overall graphics and gameplay are probably better on a xbox 360 or ps3. i've heard that playing madden online on the wii is almost unplayable.

ps3 is WORTH THE BUY!!!!
i'll list some of the reasons
- ps3 has a built-in blu-ray player
- ps3 has much more and better exclusives, most of them cant go to xbox 360 because it cant handle that many data(DVD- 8.5gb, blu-ray 50gb)
- online is free for ps3 not like 360
- ps3 will have over 300 games released by this spring
- when developers get used to the system, the graphics will be WAY better than 360. should take them a year to get used to it
- playstation home is coming out this spring, its a virtual community where you can hang out with friends and customize your own apartment which xbox doesnt have(FREE)
- ps3 is a true HD console. xbox 360 upscale games to 1080p and ps3 DISPLAY games up to 1080p
- built in Wi-Fi
- xbox 360: 33% hardware failure
ps3: .2% hardware failure(see the decimal? less than 1%!)
- rumble returns in spring 2008
- you can upgrade your harddrive without voiding warranties with any 2.5 HDD, which xbox cant because you have to buy a xbox HDD
(they actually have the step by step on how to upgrade it on playstation.com)
those are the ones that i know right off my mind but there are much more reason than this
im not gonna waste my time talking about the so called "next generation console", wii
Prices as of today:
ps3- 80gb: $599
60gb: $499
xbox 360(premium)- $399 (if you want the accessories that ps3 comes with, that would add up to over 700 dollars)

I think the ps3 is better than the wii the only cool thing about the wii that it has motion sensors the wii is cool but the ps3 is better that's why it costs so much

I think tha Wii is the best system ever. It has motion sensor controls that is more realstic than some good graphics. And the Wii has free online play.
