I did a lot of reasearch and found her a good new position- but she point blank refusedy. I pointed out it would allow her to finish far quicker, everything would be much closer, she'd be less tired and far more fulfilled- but no. I even said she'd now be able to bring her girlfriends round for some fun- one of them could even swap roles if wife was keen. Again no.
Any ideas why she's so tied to her job?

I would love to know what the new position was! Perhaps if your wife was not open to the new position i might have a go...less tired, more fullfillment sounds good to me...
Although, since your wife is so tied to her job maybe everything is going exactly as she wants it. Good for you to be so close.

Ahhh! What are we talking about again. In the beginning it sounded like you found her a new job, then shifted to you having sex with her girlfriends and swapping roles? Well I'm confused.

why were you looking for other jobs for her? did she ever say anything about her not liking her job?
Ask her for best, most satisfying answer. But dont start an argument over it, just calmly ask her if she is happy at her current job, if she says yes, drop it, let it go. If she says no, ask her what it was about the job you showed her that she didnt like. And also, ask her if she wants your help, maybe she wants a different job but wants to find it herself, her own way.

It also sounds like you're talking about your wife's career at the end there. The rest sounds like another type of "position". Make up our minds.

Bob, you are killing me today.
Some positions are tough to handle. They are hard to penetrate and get really deep inside. Sometimes the initial thrust can be intimidating. You might need to lube the skids to get her into this new position.

maybe she just likes it sweetie.......and she may well wonder why you are trying to arrange her working life for her...isn't that her choice? surely if she wanted a new position she would be looking herself? nice of you to think of her though. think maybe next time you should support her in what she wants rather than trying to arrange something you think she wants. good luck.
