You don't say why your fiance doesn't think she can have another baby....that makes your question a little tougher to answer.

If it's a medical reason, you might need the help of a doctor/specialist to get pregnant. Two months really isn't very long-- especially if she was on birth control prior to that. I think a lot of doctors will tell you to try to get pregnant on your own for 1 year before seeking out fertility treatments (unless you already know that there is a medical condition). I'd say your fiance should chart her cycle-- find her fertile days and then you two should act accordingly. You'll want to try a day or two prior to ovulation so that your swimmers will be ready and waiting for the egg.

Good luck.

2 months is not a long time at all. Give it a few more months before you decide that you "can't have another one". How old are you? Docs say that if you're under 35, you should try for a whole year before you get worried, and give it 6 months if you're over that age.

Also, if she recently quit some form of hormonal birth control, it can take several more cycles for her ovulation to resume, so that could be another problem.

I'd say just keep doing what you're doing (I'm sure you know the mechanics of baby making) and not worry about it for several more months.

We really don't have enough info? Why does your fiance think she cant have any more children? She could see a doctor about the problem, in order to see if she is fertal. If she is, it is common not to get pregnant in the first two tries. Sometimes it can take like a year. Just make sure your girl knows her cycle (so she can know when to expect her period) and have sex every other day, and everyday during her ovulation time. The number one thing you guys need to remember is to relax and have fun. The more she streeses the less likely it is to happen. My midwife told me to "stop trying to get prego. and just have fun with your husband.....often" Once I learned to relax, I was pregnent within a month.

Ok, it's only been 2 months- while I know that makes you worried some thing's 'wrong', it is very common. Even if you are 'older' (35+) they don't consider it an issue until it's been 6 months. I wouldn't even BEGIN top get worried until 6-12 months along...I know, easier said then done, but 2 months without conception is NOT considered an 'issue' by medical pros. She may just ovulate sooner or later than expected- have sex every other day in between periods to help increase chances.

Well first of all you should leave the stress out because that won't help at all! the stress and anxiousness of get pregnant will not let you. Calm down, relax and practice a lot! 2 months is not so much time.
Hope this will help!

2 months really isn't that long to be trying. I would have her go to her gyno to make sure there are no problems and keep trying. Also - just wondering why isn't adoption an option? There are lot's of wonderful children out there that need good homes.

Two months isn't a very long time to be trying, especially if she was on birth con troll before. Give it time, and relax. Most fertility doctors won't even see you unless you have been trying at least a year.

If you have only been trying for 2 months and she is unable to get pregnant, it could be a multiple reasons. If you have one, and she has one from previos relationships, who is to say it is her who has the problem. You can do invitro if adoption is not an option. They take your sperm and her egg and implant in in her for her to carry out full pregnancy.

Why is adoption not an option? Do you guys have a record or do you simply think that you wouldn't love that child like you would a biological child?
My aunt and uncle couldn't have biological children, so they adopted two girls from China. They love them both very much.
If it's because someone has a record, then you're right, adoption is not an option.

two months? people try for two years before they get pregnant...I say relax, it will happen when it's gonna happen. Stress is good for neither of you when you are trying to concieve. Have sex when she is ovulating and save up your swimmers until then. Have her lay on her back when the deed is done and bring her knees up to her chest, this will keep the little guys in there as long as possible. Good luck!
