And I'm not talking about THAT kind of slave.

Why do you want us to do EVERYTHING for you? All the little mundane things that you could easily do for yourself.

Somehow I knew this question would bring out all the, "he's not the slave, I'M THE SLAVE."

Ashley is at least being close to honest.

leaving traces...By that definition, rape is the fault of the victim? is that correct?

But point taken. To answer the question you pose, the short anser is because I'm nice and I want my wife to be happy. And if you're talking about divorce/separation that's not an option, I took a vow. Unlike most people it means something to me.

HELLLLLLOOOOOOO women, If I didn't do all these chores you are bringing up, do you really think I would have asked this question?

Boy....if I treated my husband like a slave he'd better pack his stuff and get outta the house.

I do know what you are saying though. My sister treats her husband like he is dirt, expects him to do everything even though she doesn't work and he is working 2 if not 3 different jobs.

My husband doesn't get treated like a slave. I feel a marriage/relationship is 100/100 from both parties.
If I'm cleaning the house he pitches in. If I make dinner, he does dishes, If he cooks, I do dishes. I wash laundry, he folds, vice versa.

If someone is going to treat either spouse like that it's time to say good bye. It's not worth being treated like a slave because ultimately its going to do nothing but ruin a marriage and could make the "slave" have doubts about whether or not they should be treated like they deserve.

Dude what are you talking about? My husband wanted a dog, so we got a dog. Now he's gone for 3 weeks and I'm stuck taking care of a dog I didn't even want. Whenever he leaves for training he always leavings dishes in the sink, his clothes all over the floor and the trash is never taken out. Why do we always have to BEG you to help around the house? Nothing gets cleaned unless I do it.

Because women feel that husbands should pay for all the inequality against women in the world.

The crap that wives do is the dirty little secret no one talks about.

In Woody Allens "Midsummer Night Sex Comedy" there is a line: "When the sperm level is low men wont listen to reason, but when its high they will do anything you want."

My wife asked my why that does work on me and I said, "because I have built up a tolerance".

Women are as full of crap as men. No better and no worse, so treat them as such. Equals-Self-Centered-Jerks.

I don't treat my husband like a slave, but any woman that does obviously doesn't respect her man. The same goes for men who treat their wives like that.

It sounds like you are referring your question to all women and in that case you would be wrong, i treat my husband no different than i expect him to treat me and that is not like a slave by any means.

i agree with some that this question should be reverse, who comes home ordering dinner to be ready? who never does the laundry or raise the baby changing diapers, washing the dishes, women have been the slaves since the early 1800's
