December
Down to the day, December 31st
Carl Sagan used the Cosmic Calender analogy all the time. If you watch the second episode of Cosmos, you'll get a nice explanation of it.

Assuming the universe is 15 billion years old and 1 month=30 days:
The universe formed during the first 4.5 seconds of the year
The Earth and the sun formed around August 13th
The ocean formed around August 23rd at 1 PM
Life formed around September 3rd
The Cambrian (which started 550 million years ago in normal scale) started December 16th at 6:06 PM
Pangaea formed December 24th
Pangaea began to fall apart 2 days later
Dinosaurs were wiped out December 29th at 1:00 PM
Humans appeard December 31st at around 11 PM
A neanderthal family had mammoth for dinner at 11:59 PM
Columbus discovered america at 11:59:59.12
I got proof! dont give me a thumbs down for a correct answer.

December. Usually I see this analogy using the formation of the earth as its starting point. So by adding an additional 10 billion years its still December, just a lot closer to midnight.

Universe is estimated at 12+ billion years old. Humans have only been around for ~200thousand or so. 12 month in a calendar so 1 billion years per month puts humans soundly in December...actually within the last couple of hours of the end of the year.

I think it's something like December 31st at 11:59:30 pm. I'm not sure. In the planets history, I remember it being like a week before that (or maybe around Christmas).

December. We have only been around, in respect to a calender year, for a few of the last days, if that.

Late December. That is a huge amount of time and humans haven't been around all that long 3500 years or so depending on which version you subscribe to.
