I plan on buying the 360 either late November or early December, just in time for me to get some serious gaming in once I get out of school (Dec. 10). I wanted to know if there is going to be an updated 360 coming out in the fall? I also was looking at the Halo edition 360 and wondered if that would be best to go with? Is there a bundle coming our with Marvel Alliance and some other game? How can I connect an Xbox to the internet without buying that expensive network adapter? right now all I want is NBA 2K8 but are there any suggestions for games. Thanks!

The xbox 360 update is already out, although depending on just when the unit you purchase in store was produced you may or may not get it. The newest 360s use a new processor chip production technology that makes it produce less heat (overheating has been the #1 killer of 360s).

Microsoft has announced that the 360 will be bundled with Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Forza Motorsport 2.

I personally think the Halo edition console is ugly. Unless it comes bundled with some good stuff (and I have no idea if it does or not) I would just get a premium.

You can connect the 360 to a network router with a simple ethernet cable. If you want wireless, you have to get an expensive adapter.

Game suggestions:
Halo 3
Bioshock
Mass Effect
Crackdown
Call of Duty 2 and 3
lots more

Some games you might want to look at are Gears of War, Halo 3, PGR 4, and Bioshock.
I am 75% sure that the xbox 360 prim comes with a enternet cable that you can use so you do not need to get the enternet wireless thingy and if i am wronng and it does not come with the cable it is a reg enternet cable you can go get a radio shack or some thing like that.

well there's the 360 elite which is like a normal 360 but is black and comes with a whopping 120 gb on the hard drive! and 1 month xbox live trial and free game demos and themes all for only 300 pounds! bt there's the normal premium which is 250 pounds and u cn gt one with a free halo 3 at game . com and in tesco with forza 2. i would recommend either elite if u cn afford it or premium with forza 2. also for wireless compatability u hav to buy a wi-fi adapter for about 60 quid.

It doesnt have plenty memory. 4) each and every stay account takes a pair mbs to keep. 5) it comes with 5 arcade video games that are on a disk. paying for the professional or elite approach is a much greater valuable investment. The arcade replaced into as quickly as extremely normally designed for individuals who had an xbox even though it extremely broke merely so they gained one with no tough skill once you evaluate that that they had one from their old xbox. I merely obtained the pro the day gone by and your chum would be greater desirable than happy if he spends merely yet yet another a hundred dollars for it.
