What do you do to keep yourself busy when you just ended a 5 year relationship and one year of marriage? You move back to your parents and try to rebuild your life. Please give me some ideas.

you pretty much answered your own question to some degree but to expand upon that, rebuild your life by finding things to do now that you could not do while married, such as making new friends, joining a club or perhaps a bowling league if you like doing that, decide whether you are interested in going back to school - depending upon your age and what schooling you have now - and getting a new profession, perhaps join a gym near you - do those things which will build up your confidence and self esteem, but the only thing you do not do is to get into another relationship for a while until you find yourself and are sure that you understand why the marriage failed and what you have to do, or not do, to make the next one work.

Well hopefully you don't have children. I would go back to the life I led before when I was single. O.K. you will have to find new friends if your old ones are gone. Take a few night school courses and maybe see if you can't update yourself at work or find a career that interests you and go for it. I envy you!

I suggest you try to do something you've never done before and always wanted to do.

My last break up was nasty. I was totally in love and devastated.

I took up guitar lessons, went to the movies with my girlfriends all the time and went to the gym.

It's not an easy process and it's gonna take time, take it slow and day by day.

I wish you the best.

take a workout class, have a girl's night out every once in a while, go to the movies, cook, get a pet, work on bettering yourself and healing.

to start you have to find a place to live not your parents home. you have to find different place because then she will find you their and you don't wont that. You have to find another girl that is better than her and pass by her home and let her see you with another girl that is better then her and she will get very mad and it would hurt her. That is what you have to do.
