You just wanna know?

So talk to your system/web admin at your job and don't ask us to help you get fired, sued and more.

Some ideas ...

1) Ask the computer people about getting some sites unblocked (assuming you need them for work).

2) Use a proxy site.

3) If you have a BlackBerry or similar device, connect through it to get online.

4) Use a USB wireless network card, and see if you can pick up any unsecured wireless networks in your vicinity.

Be warned, though: If you try #2, #3, or #4, first make sure your résumé is up to date. Those methods would most likely be considered tampering with the company's computer security, violation of the computer/Internet usage policy, and grounds for termination. If you use a proxy and end up getting canned, don't say you weren't warned.

Circumventing Internet access control systems with web proxies to access unauthorized web sites is a violation of company computer usage policy. You will get fired from your job when you get caught. Use school computers for school work, and the personal web surfing can wait until you get home. Do you really want your bosses and company IT administrators knowing websites you are visiting anyways?

You will want to talk to your IT department. They've likely locked down your Internet access to approved sites so that you stay productive.

If there is a site that you need to access for work, they should be able to help you out (if that fails, taking to your manager is the next step).

Do What i do, U use a portable Wi-fi Receiver. You can buy them anywhere and they come in the form of USB Drives. Using this you can pick up any wi-fi signals (like I do) and be on line all day long.

You can't do that...only the system administrator (which you are definitely not) can change those settings.
