I was 20, had him at 21
I wasn't expecting it
I wouldn't change it for the world
I knew because I missed 2 periods
We told our roommate first
We just blurted it out
I thought my family would be disappointed in me, but they couldn't be happier and they love their grandchild/nephew to death.

1. I was 21 When I got pregnant, now 22
2. We planned it.
3. I would never change it.
4. It took 5 tests to get a posative result, (1st response works great)
5. I told my b/f also of 5 years, Then my mom and dad.
6. Just showed him the test, I cried. (happy tears after 4 negative results)
You are of age now and if this is something you really want and you BOTH feel ready then I say go for it I wanted a child at 16 but knew finacially I wasn't ready nor was I stable but I finished school my b/f and I are still happily together we have our own home and both have Stable dependable jobs w/ great healthcare benifits and I know feel the time is right.
Good Luck and a early Congrats!

I was 21 and not really expecting it. I wouldnt change it, but honestly knowing now what I didnt know that it would have been nice to have been a little bit older. I am now almost 25 and my daughter is 2 1/2. My best friend was there when I took the test so she knew first.
Everyone is different and you might be ready, but personally I think 18 is pretty young. There is so much for you to experience still....you have so much time ahead of you to have a child!
Good luck in whatever happens and God Bless.

OK..just for giggles..hmm
1. I was 16 married already (had been for 3 months when I got Pregnant) Couldn't take birth control and he was STUPID to the fact he didn't want to wear condoms! Duh! I was 21 when I had my 2nd baby, another boy :o) I love my boys with all my heart, even to this day.
2. I was, my then husband NO WAY
3. NOT IN A MILLION YEARS
4. This feeling inside of me that same day. I knew the day I conceived. Both my boys were born on due dates.
5. My then husband. He wasn't happy. I was THRILLED TO HEAVEN AND BACK.
6. He dropped me off at the doctor. I had to call from a pay phone. He asked what the doc said, I told him he was going to be a "Daddy" his response was "That's just F@#$ great!" He never did have a good relationship with my boys, especially my oldest.
I LOVED BOTH MY BOYS 100%! The only regret I have EVER had was the ding bat I was married to that "DONATED" his gene pool to my sons. That is about as far as he ever has been as far as a Father/Parent!
IT TAKES MORE THAN BIOLOGICAL MATTER TO BE A PARENT
If you are expecting, your family will get use to the idea of this baby. It's their GRAND CHILD! So CELEBRATE IT'S LIFE!! Enjoy this new life and Pray for a healthy child with all the fingers, toes.
Hold your baby, love your Special gift. Raise that baby with love. As the child grows, remember to be a GOOD TEACHER. As parents we are teachers first. Don't rely on your child being taught at school. It is your responsibility to teach too. Take all the pictures you can, videos too. Do things with your child, play cars, dolls, with them. Get under the sink and play pots and pans for Heaven's sake. Be a kid with your baby as they grow. It's fun. I did it after I got home from work and on weekends when my boys were older, we always did things together, just the three of us. Their dad was always off somewhere else, sadly.
God Bless you and your soon to be family, if that is how it works out!! Take care!

2. yes/planned
3. no, not even if I was 18 I don't think(mom had me at 18)
4. two lines on the test

It's not easy to have a baby at 18 but not impossible, it's not something I would choose to do though. You are right that your family might not be all that happy but they will get over it and love there grand child.

1. I was 32
2. No!! I was told I couldn't have children!
3. Absolutely not. My son has brought so much joy to many of my family members. He is referred to as the Miracle Baby
4. My boobs were KILLING me and I thought I was going to have a bad period (my last one was very short, so I thought, turns out it was spotting). So I figured I would play Murphys Law - take a Pregnancy Test and then my period would start. But I was actually pregnant.
5. I told my husband. We were in total shock.
6. I called him up to the Bathroom and asked him to verify what I was seeing on the test because I didn't believe it. I called my dad and asked if he believed in miracles. he said yes. I told him I was pregant and he was so excited (He was very sick at the time). My son is now 3.5. My father passed in 2005. A half hour before he died, I brought my son in the room and my dad, who could not speak or move, smiled at him. That was his last "gesture" before he passed. He is a true Miracle baby.

I just have one piece of advice. Two, actually. Get a prenup drawn up, and marry the man you love. I don't know about where you are from, but in the US, a boyfriend/fiance has no rights to make medical or legal decisions for you or the unborn child. If you love him enough to make babies with him, marry him.
24, 27
no, yes
no, no
HPT, HPT
Hubby, hubby
I showed him the hpt
Best wishes.

â¥22 when i became preggo - 23 when my baby's born (still preggy)
â¥not at all, it was quite a surprise!
â¥first time I saw her moving in the ultrasound, I knew I wanted her.
â¥I didn't.. I went for a checkup and the dr had told me... funny thing is that I didn't hear him or misunderstood. Anyways he wrote down my diagnosis on a paper and my brother was reading it on the way home.. and well,.. he screamed... You're Pregnant! Oh, and my husband was driving and we almost met our maker that day...lol.
⥠my sister.. who was overjoyed and then everyone else after that
