OK, I'm Romanian too... well, Romania is not such a little country after all. Did u see the movie Borat? I am not proud too tell it, but the "kazakisthan" people showed in the movie are Romanian gypsies. There are 2 million gypsies in Romania, and the total population is 22million, so we are not all gypsies.
Romania is a very beautiful country, ans slowly will attrackt a lot of tourists. It is best known in the world for the legend of Dracula (Transylvania is a part of Romania), Nadia Comaneci (perfect 10 in gym), Gheorghe Hagi (soccer midfielder who played at Real Madrid)... I highly recommend you to watch this video, called "A world without Romania":

I've been though that country a couple of times on Danube river cruises. Its not an island. A very pleasant eastern european country. Its capital has the distinction of having the second largest building on earth (after our pentagon). The country really doesn't need such a monstrosity, but their last dictator had the thing erected after knocking down a good third of Bucharest to build the thing.
