what ailment would want to see a real cure that works
AIDS, Cancer (be specific), Herpes, Diabetes. Halitosis, etc.......your choice (1only)

Rheumatoid Arthritis.
The wife got it at age 30, so a cure for that would be nice.

Well, I know you can only pick one, but, I would say diabetes before AIDS. The reason why is because there are more children now being diagnose with that than anything else at an alarming rate. That would be the first thing I would like to see cure first.

It would of been good if 'they' had not created AIDS in the first place. I hear there is a cure, that was made at the time 'they' made the virus. Wicked cruel world we live in. I'd say cancer, of any type.

Alzheimer's.
I've lost family and friends to various diseases over the years, but Alzheimer's was the worst.
The loss of memory is well known [and joked about], but what a lot of people don't know is that the disease eventually attacks whatever part of the brain deals with physiology, so that the end stages of the disease are a wasting away of the body. My mother weighed about 80 pounds when she finally passed.
Ghastly, ghastly disease.

Chuck, I've been 30 years in the medical field, and I will assure you the disease that effects the most people in many terrible ways is in fact DIABETES.
