If thats your belief then I say try it but honestly it seem as though today's men won't buy the cow until they've sampled the milk! Thats not to say that you should sleep around or on the first date but if you meet someone you like, ask him how he feels about the situation and if he would be willing to wait and if he says no then he's not trying to get to know you and you know whats on his agenda.

Absolutly. I commend you for your wits.

I'm doing the same. I do not live with the man that I want to marry, not for religious reasons, but because I want to marry him.

If I shack up with him, it will be 10 years or never before I see a ring, and I'm sorry but if you make it easy for a man, you will make it harder on yourself. I'm not "celibate" but moving in with him is not an option, and the offering has been there a few times.

I'm with you on this one sister. Power to you!

I think that people do not decide to spend their lives together based on sex and/or celibacy.

My reccommendation is to do what you feel is right and be yourself - if that involves sex, great. If not, that's fine too. Just as long as you are completely open and true to yourself you will find someone that loves you as much as you love you!

Good Luck!

Yes, you're doing what is the best for you. If a man can't respect that of you. That is one less man you have to deal with.

That is your choice and no one can tell you if you are doing the right thing or not.
