This punishment is a bit tooooooo much, I feel sorry for Akthar.
He is a very good unique fast bowler.
Asif should be banned for giving his thighs to Shaoib Akthar to hit. ;p

It's not the ICC, it's the PCB. It's Pakistan's own punishment, and they are right! He hit his own team-mate, and his excuse is he was aiming for a different team-mate. How can a team function like that? If they don't punish him, how can Asif play with him later? As a world cricket fan I want matches to be decided by cricket, not because of teams fighting amongst themselves. He is a very good player, but he is not good for his team.

As everyone has said, it's not the ICC, it's the PCB. I frankly think it's absolutely fair. He's not an asset to the team. My opinion.
It's quite obvious that some people don't read properly. ICC doesn't have an agenda against Shoiab, get that straight.

Yeah but these guys are meant to set an example , and you really dont need kids going round battering ( excuse the pun!!) each other every time they fall out. Stuff like this no doubt happens but it should be behind closed doors not in the public domain.

13 matches sounds pretty harsh to me, but I do not have the full information.
hopefully this will give shoaib time to think about it and sort out any issues he might have.
he is a great bowler, it's a pity to see this happen to him!
