ME, but I sort of have to, because I'm pretty sure it is officially against the law to think otherwise in Denver this week. You know, the mayor and governor officially proclaimed this month to be called "Rocktober" here. We are CRAZY about our teams!!!

There are 4 teams left

And without a doubt the Rockies have THE BEST HITTING LINEUP RIGHT NOW

There's no question about it

But their pitching and defense is something that hasn't proven itself against quality opponents

The red sox are might good and they're very good all round...if the Rockies can somehow get thru a goooooooood pitching team like the Arizona D-backs then there is no doubt that the Rockies can beat the Boston Red Sox and win the world series

The rockies have to continue pitching shut down ball (like they did against an explosive offense in Philadelphia) and continue playing solid fundamental baseball on the defensive end

That would depend on the time frame of your question. Of all time? Definitely not. This season? Nope. At the current moment? Possibly, yes. They're on a burning hot streak right now. They feel they can't lose, winning 17 of their last 18. But good hitting and a good home crowd can only get you so far. They'll cool off eventually. If not now, then in the World Series vs. Boston/Cleveland. Right now though, the way they're playing, the Rockies may very well be the best team in baseball.

Not me. Hot bats can only last for so long...especialy against pitchers like Brandon Webb. The Phillies had horrible pitching. Also, just wait until all of their young stars like Matt Holliday and Garret Atkins get older and better, when they start to demand more money and the Rockies can't afford them, they'll just end up with the Yanks or BoSox.

It amuses me how many Rockies fan have popped up over the past month and a bit...I think most of you are bandwagoners, there might be some people who are true fans, but there sure as hell wasn't this many of you 3 months ago.

They aren't the best team in baseball, but they probably have the most momentum that any team has ever had going into post season and it is showing. The best team doesn't always win, the team with the most momentum usually does.

I'm not sure they IS the best team in baseball, but they are the best in the NL. Boston or Cleveland will crush them, if Colorado makes it past Arizona.

They are only as good as their bullpen. Quite frankly, that is the only aspect of their team that is keeping them in October's ride of glory.

They are certainly the hottest team but the long layoff in between series will not help that.
