Sometimes the music makes the movie, and it's still a classic movie.
so I'll mention four:
The Blues Brothers, reviving some incredible soul and blues.
Oh,brother where art thou.... an incredibly funny movie unearthing some American Root music which otherwise
might have been buried forever.
The Commitments after a book by Roddy Doyle for an Irish
take on ' Dublin Soul '.
And if you have a totally Naff sense of humor you have to
watch Leningrad Cowboys go America by Aki Kaurismaki
about a fictitious Russian Polka band going to America
to make it BIG !!, main argument for the adventure " In America they'll listen to anything ".
They discover Rock and Roll and ........ Look it up on you
tube Try Sweet Home Alabama with the Russian Red Army Choir.....and pay attention to the hair- do's ...hilarious !!

Hi. I'm not sure if you're looking for soundtracks with instrumental songs, or songs sung by various artists. I like instrumental soundtracks, so I'll give you the ones I like the most anyway.
- Prince of Tides (James Newton Howard)
- The Notebook (Aaron Zigman)
- Ever After (George Fenton)
- Indecent Proposal (John Barry)
- For Your Eyes Only (Bill Conti; James Bond soundtrack)
- The Holiday (Hans Zimmer)
- The Object of My Affection (George Fenton)
- Working Girl (Carly Simon, and other artists)
- Stargate (Nicholas Dodd & Sinfonia of London)
- Serendipity (Alan Silvestri, and other artists)
That's all I can think for now, but you have any other questions, just message me!
