Do the NuvaRing.. no pills to worry about, and totally ditz-proof! =) I'm a total ditz and it works wonders for me.

The Mirena IUD is a good choice because it doesn't release hormones that make you gain weight and you can leave it in for up to 5 years.
It is already in place and you don't have to worry about fumbling with condoms that break or remembering to take a pill..DON"T do the DEPO shot!! I gained 20lbs in 2 weeks on that.

IUD... if you are in a monogomus relationship it is suppose to be great... my friend has had hers for 4 years.. and 4 years of no periods!! lucky chick!

my ob/gyn said they found issues with the patch.. so i would no recommend that.

i tried the Nuva Ring that my friends were using.. but I could not master reaching in my vagina to get the darn thing out.. so that wasn't for me.

i heard there are new sticks that can be inserted into your arm.. but i would only be concerned that would give the same side effects as the depo shot....

that's all i have.

I would just use condoms since birth controlls usually make women gain wait! Not all of them, but probably most! I know the nuva ring is good for not remembering, but I was on it for 3 months and I gained 6 pounds! and I KNOW it was from the ring!

The ring is your best option if you can't use the pill and want something immediately removable; always use a condom! I just wonder what's the point of losing vanity weight if you plan to get pregnant immediately after?...

go to your gyno and talk to them about having an IUD it's about 90% eeffective and when removed depending on your cycle has no lasting effects, you can start working on a baby almost straight away, my mother had her's removed and she was pregnant with me within one month, also the IUD is way,way safer then it was in the 70's, it works by preventing implantation. you could also try a spermicide used with a diaphram. hope this helps.

theres this tube you can get put into your arm, it releases hormones the minute its in, and according to my aunt, has caused her to loose weight, the name however is unknown to me, but i do know they place it just inside your arm, and although theres bruising for a few days, lasts for bout 2-3 years, and you dont have to worry about it even being there..
talk to your doctor about it..

I'm on the NuvaRing and love it! You leave it in for three weeks, take it out for your period, then insert a new one. Super easy and it has low hormones.

you should really think about that beacause most birth controls cause people to gain weight. maybe you should just stick with a rubber
