i have had someone call me a hero recently...it all has to do with timing i feel though and meeting each other at the right time, i'm not a hero, just a normal person trying to make it like everyone else, but if being around me changes someone's life for the better, or changes their outlook on life then that's great, but it doesn't make me a hero, just a friend.

Yes, I think its the most overused word in today's society. Everybody's a hero for this, that and everything else. When I give blood, they call me a hero. Quit it already!!! I don't feel likea hero at all; I'm just doing it cuz I can. A hero to me is like someone in a war that saves his battalion by being the only one left to fight and has to fight off the enemy by himself.

Not me. But my husband was called a hero for pulling a man out of a fire.

Yeah. I was driving a liquor delivery truck, and would go the extra mile to provide good customer service to my clients. That is something that is severely lacking in that industry.
I never considered myself a hero though.
