I'll start you out with five:

1.The Gymnasts-Elizabeth Levy
2.Fabulous Five/Taffy Sinclair books-Betsy Haynes
3.Sisters-Jennifer Cole
4. Camp Sunnyside Series-Marilyn Kaye
5.Peanut Butter and Jelly-Dorothy Haas

OK, here is the bonus question.. :) 10 points to whoever can correctly identify this series/author. I remember reading about a group of girls (I think maybe middle schoolers) at either a boarding school or private school...one of the girls is named Quinn, and she was very involved in journalism if I remember correctly. One of the other girls was named Esmie and she was a model. Does anyone know this one? I can't remember the name, and it has been driving me nuts!

I think your bonus answer is "Palm Beach Prep." After the first three came out, a different publisher started publishing them and started over with the numbering. They all had different authors. It's a little confusing, but I think the book titles are:

1. New Girl in Town 1989 (Carol Q. Sansevere)
2. Stolen Kisses 1989 (Carol Q. Sansevere)
3. Head of the Class 1989 (Elle Wolfe: Cara Knowles is running for class president--again. Alicia Antona decides it's time for her to have some competition, with the help of her best friends she just might get elected. But Cara's not used to losing.)

1. Lonely Heart 1990 (Elle Wolfe: Nicole runs away when her mother is about to remarry a man who has a son Nicole's age.)
2. The Real Scoop 1990 (Elle Wolfe: Quinn starts her own newspaper when she gets tired of reading Cara's gossip in the sixth-grade class newspaper.)
3. The Girls Against the Boys 1990 (Susan Booker: The girls' soccer team challenges the boys' soccer team to a game, and Quinn must decide if winning the game is worth losing Jonathan.)
4. Screen Test 1990 (Susan Smith: Esme Farrell, the sixth grade model from Palm Beach Prep, goes to Hollywood for a screen test.)
5. Troublemaker 1990 (Crystal diMeo: Kye Baldwin turns the Palm Beach Preparatory School upside-down. She labels Quinn as a teacher's pet, gets away with wearing whatever she wants, and accuses Quinn's best friends of being snobs before they have a chance to introduce themselves.)
6. Upstaged 1990 (Crystal diMeo: Excited about auditioning for the son of a world-famous rock star who is making his own video, Alicia is worried when she discovers that snobby Cara will also be auditioning.)

OMG, I had totally forgotten about Peanut Butter and Jelly! LOL

There's one I was thinking about featuring a girl named Poppy and her family, and all the kids have flower names because their last name is Flowers, and she has a best friend named Tink, who is an only child with a single, working mom, and one of the books was called "Poppy and the Outdoor Cat," but I don't remember the series name.

I totally remember the one you're talking about, with Esmie and Quinn, but I don't remember what it's called.

Do you remember the series called "The Kids at Polk Street School," and each book featured a different group of kids, and one was named Emily Arrow, but I don't remember the other kids' names...

my all-time favorite was the Babysitters Club, but that wasn't exactly obscure...

You do understand that the words "determination" and "unsleeping" do not possibly narrow down shiet? Plus Del and Aceyalone are particularly distinctive artists to start with. Plus Del's first valid debut replaced into in ninety one, jointly as Aceyalone's replaced into in ninety 5, a time window that would not precisely allign with previous due 80's/early ninety's. Myka 9 and precis rude are patently the 1st that spring to ideas, yet then you certainly besides could have Freestyle Fellowship, Jurrasic 5, Alkaholiks between others groupwise who have been making noise of a nationwide point...

I don't recall if it was a full series or just a book and a sequel, but I remember My Crazy Cousin Courtney by Judi Miller from the 90's.

I also remember The Saddle Club series (which was also a TV show) by Bonnie Bryant, the Sleepover Friends series by Susan Sanders, and the Friends 4Ever series by Dierdre Corey.
