was anyone else disappointed with the new south park last night?

Leave it to Matt & Trey to take us all on a twisted fecal sprinkled rollercoster ride like they did last night...(10/10/07) I'll be honest....at first I wondered "What the hell are they talking about? The biggest turd??" Then as the show progressed and everything fell into place with them making fun of Bono.....I thought, "You guys got me again!". I mean, who even thought that the little "Emmy" award that kept popping up was going to be shoved into a piece of crap at the end. South Park won the award for best animated series and this was Matt and Treys way of saying......"We may have won an Emmy, but we're still South Park!" South Park......always full of surprises!
By the way....to comment on the answer below mine....Leopold "Butters" Stotch is the best character...not Cartman. Butters will always leave you in stitches; Cartman is just annoying. Also, the Tourettes episode wasn't all that great. Oooooh, Cartman is swearing and being a jerk to everyone....we haven't seen that before. Did you know that the character of Butters is based on the Eric Stough; South Parks animation director.

I was not disappointed in last nights south park. I was funny even without cartman. They way they used Katie couric and bono was genius. I mean a whole show about who took the biggest crap. it wasn't as good as last week, but what do you expect from south park.

Not at all. The measuring unit is a Couric - too funny! And Bono being offered his Daddy's 'bitty' to suck on, that was great. I agree that the Tourette's episode was better, but I always like the shows that center on Cartman, he's the best character. Great season so far.

I think Bono is a piece of cr@p, the episode wasnt as funny as last week's when cartman had turrets. But I still laughed at the end when Stan's dad took that gigantic turd infront of everyone.

yeah, after the torrets episode it was a huge letdown, but with every South Park episode, they are either really funny or they miss big time
Bono on the nipple was pretty funny though, and when he was singing in Africa

It wasn't the best, but it wasn't completely awful.
I loved the whole idea that Bono was an actual turd.

Compared to last week's episode yes. I still think it was funny though. Last week's episode was probably my favorite ever.

yes probably because of the fact carman or kenny were not in there... it had some funny moment though...
cartman is awesome and butters is just gay....

ur probaly in the US so i didnt see it but the bi-curious episode was JOKES
