You have [2a^(-2)b^3]^4 / [(a^3)b]^2
Multiply it all out, you get
[16a^(-8)b^12] / [a^6b^2]
16a^(-14)b^10
or
16b^10 / a^14

(2a²b³)⁴/ (a³b)²
1. distribute the exponents appropriately so ou can eliminate the parentheses:
2⁴a^8b^12 / a^6b²
2. cancel out and simplify. if it helps, rewrite it out like so:
16aaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbbbb/aaaaaabb
3. 6 of the a's cancel from the bottom and the top, and 2 of the b's cancel from the bottom and top. you are left with: 16a²b^10
