The didn't seem to have a rondelle last night on RDS, the had a disc? Is that slang, or is it regional? It's like those French keep making new words.

It occurred in the late 80s. Canadian Tire started calling it a 'disc'. I noticed it on my last trip through Quebec in 1988.
