Lost. Do you even care anymore?

So the TV series, Lost will return in February for an 16 episode run, followed be seasons 5 and 6 each with a 16 episode span, totaling 48 episodes. There will be no breaks in between episodes for each season, and this time they promise they'll really answer all the questions we [fans] have been wanting to know.

But do you [fans] actually care anymore? So many long breaks in between episodes, so many actors who had to leave for contract reasons, so many fake promises of answering long awaited questions, so many broken plots (due to missing characters). So many let downs. So many mysteries forgotten, never to be answered.

I really loved the series, but at this point after it being absent for so long, I'm not sure if I care anymore.

Why is it so hard for American TV to end a show when its at its height. Have a one season story-arc and end it. Don't drag it into the ground to the point where the fans don't care anymore.

Yes, I still care. I will watch the show until the end. Many questions have already been answered. Just because they haven't ALL been answered, doesn't mean you should write the show off. Now that they have some parameters to work with, they can give proper answers without giving away too much (until the end of the show) I believe many of the "missing charachter's" you complain of were the actresses that got busted in real life for DUI. Can't blame the show for that. That's life. Heres a good website about the future season.

Dear Laura. No one should feel lost, especially at 12. The thing is that you won't always be 12. I am old enough to be your grandmother and I can honestly say that I do not know one person who knew who they were at your age. (And by the way, not many of us gals are very pretty without makeup and concealer.) It's difficult to change schools but you had friends before and you will again. Perhaps you could befriend someone who feels lost like you do. You say your parents are nice but you have no plans to tell them how you feel. Wouldn't they want to know and maybe help you? Have you seen a doctor about your bloated stomach? Maybe you have a medical problem. I was the baby of the family and I often felt lost also. Give yourself some time. My gosh, your brain isn't even fully developed yet. You do sound very mature for your age and if you can draw and play the piano, you are doing more than most kids your age. Hang in there Laura. You will make new friends and don't give up on yourself. You mean more to people than you realize. I care and I don't even know you and YES, YOUR LIFE IS WORTH THE TIME. I wish you the best and stop being so hard on yourself. Do you hear me? =)

Hey it is better then the way the Sopranos ended. I watched that and regretted it so I guess I am still holding out hope for Lost. I liked the last season.

I love lost
But yes i think there breaks DO NOT need to be so long
And they do need to uncover all the forgotten mysteries
But i can't wait for it to come back out!

i still care, i think its the best tv show that's been on in quite a while. i dont like the breaks, etc, but i will still watch
