A few days ago, I got a canker sore on my bottom lip. I usually get these, but this one is different. It's different because it apparently has pus inside of it. It doesn't look like a bump either, in fact, it looks like it popped or something. Does anyone have any clue as to what this is? I've had it for about 3 days now, it doesn't seem to get worse, but I'm not sure if it's getting better either.

No, it sounds like a bad cold sore.

Try some over-the-counter cold sore medication, and see if it helps. If that doesn't work, see your doctor.

BTW, some people have answered that it is herpes of the mouth. That's halfway right. The main symptom of that is a bunch of cold sores.

Go To The Doc. If Its Canker sores Then they are basically ulcers in your mouth. Your natural mouth acid will irritate it. I found over the years that rinsing with "Phillips Milk of Magnesia" Helps It Heal It Fast Very Fast And numbs it preaty well. My patients say. Just take 3tsp of it and swish it in your mouth and rinse with water. Also, I try to drink lots of water just to keep the acid build-up in my mouth down.

Good Luck!

sounds like a cold sore and it is white because the skin covering it is dead. Eventually the skin will dry and come off by itself.
Do not engage in oral sex until three weeks after it is fully healed, you still shed the virus until then, and oral sex can transmit it to your partner's genitals, and your partner will not thank you for that.
