I'm afraid that to some of us "Autri" sounds too much like the French "autrui", meaning "someone else" or "other people".

I don't care for the name Autri. Claire is a beautiful name, one of my faves.

Autri is different - it makes me think of Gene Autrey, the cowboy. But the more I say it in my head, the more I like it.

It makes me think of Gene Autrey the cowboy, but younger people may not know him, so it may not matter to you.
