First, posting this 4 times will not solve your problem. Second spread the word. I am currently telling all my friends to stop going to bestbuy for the following reasons:

1) Their customer service sucks. You can tell that bestbuy is fortunate to have thier employees even show up for work I guess.
2) Their Geek Squad are a bunch of Superiority Complexed people that thrive on belittling the general public due to their lack of computer knowledge and/or Star Trek and Star Wars
3) Their prices suck! I just priced PNY PC2700 1Gb of ram on their website to find out it was $120. Went to Newegg.com and it was $60. THAT IS 100% mark up for an online purchase?! WTF!?
4) Any time I went in there I seen a sea of blue, yellow and white shirt people that are not helping anyone. Unless of course its the holidays then they care.
5) Their customer service sucks...I know its a repeat but screw them!

I really feel sorry for you and your current standing with these AssClowns. Try to find a friend that knows computers and will help you out. Hopefully they didnt wipe your whole drive and maybe you can slave it by purchasing a Hard drive enclosure. From now on I would purchase all your electronic needs here.

I am assuming that you have some sort of problem after a Geek Squad install or repair. I suggest you call them up and explain the situation to the person that answers the phone. Make sure you call the Geek Squad that did the install or repair. If the person that answers the phone is no help, ask to speak with their supervisor. If that doesn't help, then chalk it up to terrible customer service. Write a letter to the editor of your local paper or go to their store and warn their portential customers of the treatment they are in for.

File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Get an estimate of the costs associated with the ruined computer. You can also put together a suit in which because of their lack of technical knowledge they ruined your Home business and you were not able to generate any revenue due to their mishap.

Take em by the balls!

If they ruined your computer, take the computer to the store that the Geek Squad is at that ruined your computer. Demand they fix it or replace it for free.

I never recommend the GS, I am my own GS.

Maybe it was already ruined. A little more info would be helpful. Have you gone back to them? They so honor the work.

There's really not much you can do.

Odds are good that this paragraph was in your contract.

10. I AGREE THAT I MUST BACKUP MY DATA, SOFTWARE, INFORMATION AND/OR FILES, Best Buy will NOT backup any data, software, information and/or files on my computer or other product unless I specifically request Best Buy to do so for an applicable fee prior to the performance for any repair or service.

I, THE UNDERSIGNED, AGREE THAT PRIOR TO DELIVERING MY PRODUCT TO BEST BUY FOR REPAIRS OR SERVICING IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY: (1) TO BACKUP THE DATA, SOFTWARE, INFORMATION OR OHER FILES STORED ON MY PRODUCT; AND (2) TO REMOVE ALL VIDEOTAPES, COMPACT DISCS, CASSETTES, DVDS, FILM OR OTHER MEDIA FROM MY PRODUCT. FURTHER, I AGREE THAT WHETHER OR NOT I REQUEST BEST BUY TO BACKUP ANY DATA, SOFTWARE, INFORMATION AND/OR FILES, IN NO EVENT SHALL BEST BUY AND/OR ITS THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDER BE LIABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR ANY LOSS, ALTERATION, OR CORRUPTION OF ANY DATA, SOFTWARE, INFORMATION, FILES, OR LOSS OF ANY OTHER MEDIA FROM MY PRODUCT.

If it was, you're stuck.
